Health researchers emphasize that the way coffee is brewed, roasted, and consumed determines whether it supports or detracts from overall well-being. Scientific findings show that the roasting process significantly influences coffee’s nutritional properties. Lighter roasts preserve more antioxidants and compounds such as chlorogenic acid, which support heart health and help regulate blood sugar levels.

    Healthy coffee choices focus on roast, brew, and moderation for wellness.

    By contrast, darker roasts, while rich in flavor, lose a greater portion of these beneficial compounds through prolonged exposure to heat.
